Daniel Radcliffe can’t understand why everyone thinks he’s a hit with the ladies.

The Harry Potter star says that if people knew how he behaved in his private life, they would definitely not consider him an eligible bachelor.

“If girls like me, it has not been proven yet,” he said. “OK, I go to the red carpet in Tokyo and thousands of girls scream at me… but the me that sits in a darkened room watching cricket for eight hours with a bowl of pasta in his underwear and socks is not quite so attractive to girls.”

Radcliffe, 19, recently revealed that he’s learning ballet.

“I’m learning the basics of ballet,” Radcliffe he Esquire magazine. “The thing is, in a few years I’ll be 21, 22, and that’s when all the guys who’ve been at drama school will come out.

“They’ve been learning dance or singing and all that stuff, and I’m going to need to compete with them because I won’t have Harry Potter as my safety net anymore. I need to make myself as viable a choice for any part as I possibly can.”
