Michael Jackson‘s 11-year-old daughter, Paris, paid tribute to her father at the end of the King of Pop’s memorial Tuesday.

Fighting back tears, she approached the microphone with the help of her aunt, Janet Jackson, who told her gently to “speak up”.

“Ever since I was born, daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine,” she said.

Before leaving the stage, Paris added, “I just wanted to say I love him so much.”

Jackson’s other two children — Prince Michael, 12, and Blanket, 7 — took the stage prior to join others in a sing-along of We Are the World/Heal the World.

Jackson, 50, died Thursday (June 25) after suffering an apparent cardiac arrest at his home in Los Angeles.

His memorial kicked off 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Kobe Bryant, Mariah Carey, Jennifer Hudson, Usher and Lionel Richie were among the celebrity participants.
