Robert Pattinson Dumps Kristen Stewart

Robert Pattinson and Kristen StewartRobert Pattinson has ended his short-lived romance with Kristen Stewart, it has been claimed.

The pair — Rob, 23, and Kristen, 18 — hit it off while filming the first installment of the Twilight movie franchise.

But Pattinson has reportedly dumped Stewart — and has apparently moved on to his Remember Me costar Emilie de Ravin.

“Robert met Emilie a while ago and has always liked her,” a source close to Rob tells American tabloid Life & Style. “He’s the one who suggested to the producers at Summit [the same production company responsible for the Twilight series] that she’d be perfect for Remember Me. In the original screenplay, her part was written for an actress of Mexican descent.”

“I watched them filming on July 2, and they got along very, very well,” an eyewitness said. “At one point between takes, they stopped into a shop to get a drink together; they seem to like each other a lot.”

The news comes amid claims Kristen is pregnant with Robert’s baby.

Australian tabloid NW reported Monday that the actress, currently in Los Angeles filming her new movie The Runaways, started to suspect she might be expecting when she realized she hadn’t had her period.

“When she worked out she was late, she obviously started to thinking that she could be pregnant,” a source was quoted as saying. “And because of the timing, she thinks Rob could be the father.

“Kristen asked one of her friends to buy the test because she was worried about someone seeing her at the drug store.”

    If this is true i bet the movies will be a little tense. i belive the split more than i belive the baby. they will say anything to sell magazines. if they are split they will still try there hardest for the fans for the movie because they are actors ands thats what they do. they are amazing people and they will try there hardest. i still cant belive that they would say that she is pregnant. although that would be a reason for them to break up. i have no idea.

    Really, guys? I SERIOUSLY doubt that Kristen and Michael have broken up. If you have ever heard Kristen talk, then you would know that she’s a super-chill down-to-earth kind of person. She wouldn’t break up with Michael, her best friend and boyfriend, for someone she has worked with, even if the chemistry was great. Have you seen any of her movies? Most of the chemistry she has with her on-screen lovers is great, but just because Twilight is big it has to be so much more. It’s really ridiculous. They haven’t broken up because they were never together. End of story.

    I feel sorry for these actors and actresses and the pressure that is placed on them. I understand they’ve chosen this career path, but they are still regular people like you and me and with feelings. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a huge fan, I’m currently reading the Twilight series by Stephanie Meyers for the 4th time and in “love” with the “story”. I loved the Twilight movie as well and have it on DVD and watch it quite often. I just don’t feel the need to write negative or false information to get myself noticed on the internet.

    I’m not saying there is anything wrong with fans being “curious” about Rob or Kristen or the stories written about them, but I wouldn’t take them at face value. When I read them I think, “interesting”, where did you get your information from? Did you speak to Kristen or Rob directly? Because even in my own life unless I hear the words from someone directly life, I don’t really believe the stories or gossip I hear. I may listen but once again don’t take them at face value and I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt and what if that were me?

    One more comment if I could, keeping in mind that these actors and actresses are people like you and me, wouldn’t it be nice to give them some time to themselves. Seems to me that they can’t go anywhere in public without getting malled by fans or papparazzi. Example: Rob in NEW YORK,”YIKES!” If I were him I’d want to go back home to London.
