Rupert Grint Dishes on Swine Flu

Rupert GrintRupert Grint has recovered from the swine flu — but admits the whole experience made him fear for his life.

“It was quite scary when I first found out I had swine flu,” the 20-year-old actor told reporters at a press conference for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in London. “I thought, ‘Am I going to die?’

“But it was just like any other flu, really.”

The actor suffered from a sore throat after catching the virus while filming Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, but no production days were lost, his rep said.

“Other scenes were shot in his absence which did not requite his involvement and this filming was not disrupted,” the publicist said.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, which also stars Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson, hits movie theaters July 15.
