It seems Kylie Minogue has been playing the dutiful daughter-in-law

The Aussie pop princess has been helping Hernandez Velencosa, father of her model boyfriend Andres, interview applicants to work at his seaside winebar on the Costa Brava.

However, Kylie’s efforts haven’t been appreciated.

“Andres’ dad has been having great difficulty finding staff,” a source said. “Kylie is keen to get in with the in-laws so she volunteered to narrow down applicants.

“But it’s a family business and there are concerns she’s stepping on a few toes.

“On top of this, her interview technique is not exactly thorough and a lot of applicants are simply coming to stare at their idol.”

It was recently reported that the 41-year-old Spinning Around hitmaker was planning to convert to Catholicism so she can have a traditional church wedding to the Spanish model.

“She enjoyed the sense of community Andres’ family share thanks to their faith,” a source told Britain’s Grazia magazine.

“Kylie is so intent on including the traditional aspects of a Catholic mass that she’s thinking of converting.”
