Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson stepped out in New York Thursday for the New York City premiere of their eagerly-awaited new movie Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
Speaking to reporters at the event, Radcliffe joked about Grint’s recent battle with swine flu. “He’s fine, he’s fine. He was probably faking it, old sick note,” Radcliffe said. “He’ll be back filming on Monday. And if he not I’ll have to kick him out of bed.”

Rupert responded to his costar’s comments, saying, “I’m not surprised. I didn’t go into work for five days though, it was quite a weird thing coming down with swine flu.”

Emma, meanwhile, told the press she is struggling to come to terms with her sex symbol status. Asked if she woke up feeling like an object of desire, Watson replied, “No, no. I really don’t. It is all very strange.”
Watson, 19, also spoke about her screen kiss with Grint, 20. “Rupert and I were quite nervous that it might look ingenuous as we were so desperate to get it over with,” she said. “Rupert and I felt the pressure of this kiss, there’s so much interest.”
“This is 10 years worth of tension and hormones and chemistry and everything in one moment. We had to ace it. Kissing is awkward, kissing is always awkward.”
