Robert Pattinson Was Desperate to Meet Kristen Stewart

Robert PattinsonRobert Pattinson has revealed why he auditioned for his role in Twilight — he was desperate to meet Kristen Stewart!

The British actor plays vampire Edward Cullen in the smash hit movie franchise.

But Pattinson, 23, admits he was only interested in the part so he could get up close and personal with Stewart.

“I read the script of Twilight and I barely knew that they were books too so I had no idea what I was letting myself in for,” said Rob. “The only reason I went to the audition was to see Kristen because I had just seen Into the Wild. Of course I had a little crush on her.”

Meanwhile, Pattinson is being so distracted by fans while his films his new movie, Remember Me, in New York; producers have been forced to lock down the set.

“[The crew] were told not to talk to the press at all. And when they talk on their phones about the shoot, they need to make sure no one else is around,” a source said. “They’ve also started listing these rules on the top of call sheets.

“It’s ridiculous. I worked on a film with Jennifer Aniston and it wasn’t nearly this bad. Older people don’t even know who he is.

“It’s all the teenagers that literally scream when they see him who make shooting impossible. They’ve had to hire security, it’s actually the same company Aniston used.”

    Sorry that was uncalled for but what I’m getting at here is if he really loved her why after a short-period did he dump her?
    It does not make any sense to me.
    I mean think how arkward making the rest of the films will be,I mean they are playing two people who are madly in love with one and other and have strong feelings for one and other,and the cast only a split couple…nice.
    What I am saying is I don’t care how many times they say they are over eachother,it will still hurt them,hurt them real bad.
    They might think it won’t but it will.
    I thought I could carry on being my ex-boyfriend’s best mate so easily but I couldn’t it hurt to much

    I think Rob and Kristen will wind up together in the end. I met my husband when I was 19. I wasn’t too young to know what I wanted. There is too much between them, in my opinion, for it not to happen. They look at each other in a way that gives them away.

    By the way, Rob never dated Emily De Ravin and never dumped Kristen. Furthermore, it’s not even confirmed that he and Kristen are together, although I think they are. if not, they will be by the time Breaking Dawn is released. Also, whatever happened to Michael Angarano?

    Have to agree with Jen. Rob and Kristen are great together on and off screen. Kristen too young?…oh please…get real…NOT. I believe the article above talks about how ROB has a crush on Kristen…Smart boy that Rob is…she is by far way too good for him…but if she likes him then that settles everything. All Kristen haters need to take their jealous asses and move on. As for MA…well either he and Kristen are still together and keeping it on an extemely low key…sucks for them…or she has someone else (maybe Rob and maybe not Rob)or there is no one right now….only time will tell.
