Gerard Butler and Katherine Heigl hit the red carpet at Hollywood’s ArcLight Cinerama Dome Thursday (July 16) for the Los Angeles premiere of their new movie The Ugly Truth.
Butler — who insists he’s not dating his The Bounty costar Jennifer Aniston — recently revealed that he’s constantly being asked to take his clothes off.
“I do tend to get asked to take my clothes off in films quite a lot,” Butler said. “Trust me if I could leave my clothes on in a movie I’d rather do that any time. But if I’m going to get undressed I’m going to do it as well as I can.
“Whenever I hear people say that’s sexy . . . for the few people that say that, I think are you insane?”
Heigl. 30, recently insisted that doesn’t feel any shame for his expressing her opinions — even when it gives her a bad reputation.
“I’ve got this moniker that I’m the foot-in-mouth gal, and I keep thinking, ‘In what way?’” she told In Style magazine. “Because I said something you don’t agree with? Because I said something you don’t like? I’m just telling you my opinion. I hate the idea that I can’t be honest about how I feel about things because it’s going to piss somebody off who feels differently. That seems preposterous to me.”
The Ugly Truth will be released in North America on July 24, 2009. And it does look like quite a good film.
