Emma Watson: ‘I Don’t Have Time to Spend my Money’

Emma Watson has loads of money — but she doesn’t have time to spend it!Emma Watson

“I really don’t have time to spend my money,” the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince star told Britain’s Sunday Mirror newspaper in a new interview. “Sometimes my bank manager calls me up to say, ‘You haven’t used your card in a while and now you’re using it — no one’s stolen it, have they?’  I’d just like to pretend the money doesn’t exist. It’s amazing how many children are aware from such a young age about money being important. Kids used to say to me, ‘You the girl on Harry Potter? How much do you make?’”

On the end of Harry Potter, “I could be 100 years old, but I’ll still be very proud I was part of the Harry Potter films. My whole life has been about Harry, then all of that will shut down and I don’t know what it will be like. I’ve come from nowhere and gone straight in at the top. Where do I go from here? I feel like I need to backtrack and work my way through again. I’m in a transitional period. I go to university in America in September. I’m making lots of decisions about my future. It’s a very exciting and slightly scary time.”

On Hermione, “I love her! I couldn’t ask for a better character to play. She’s a bit of a rebel. I think Hermione is a really good role model. She’s not scared to be herself. She’s kind of the brains behind the operation and she’s always part of the action, bossing the guys around.”

On Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint, “It’s really weird actually. We have all changed so much — it’s amazing. They are both like big brothers to me, more than anything else.”

On being famous, “It’s hard. Once you’ve invited the media into your life, you have to live with it. Focusing on school helped me get through it. Most people are really nice but some stare, like I’m some kind of zoo exhibit. Some days I wish my life were simpler, but the rest of the time I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. After all, whose life is normal?”

On keeping her feet on the ground, “I think I’m doing OK. I hope my head doesn’t get big, I’m just going to keep my feet on the ground, stick with my friends and family, and try to lead a normal life.”

On her love life, “I have a boyfriend now, but I’ve been linked to so many guys I sound like a wanton woman. People say to me, ‘Oh, it must be so easy for you, dating and boys.’ It’s really not easy. I suppose guys are either intimidated by me and have their defenses up, or they take the p*ss out of me. And I’m surrounded by cute older guys on set. That’s my problem. It’s a minefield, to be honest. It’s stressful.”

I hope that she carries on acting, i know she is off to university but I hope that when she finishes that she decides to carry on with acting. A lot of people have done what she is going to do and then you never hear of them again, so i hope she is doing the right thing

Just curious. What on earth do you Emma fans think whatever she said or whatever she did is pretty and all right without any doubt?
What about Bill Gates? Does she has more money than he does? What about Angelina Jolie? Are you more popular than her? And what the hell were you to have an aggressive manner to The Twilight team?
In the teenage popcorn movie timeworn sex scenes or something ARE everywhere! The HP movie is also flogging the kiss scenes off at a profit to feel sexual mood and then you Emma, when you were child, you weren’t blond, were you?
