Katherine Heigl: ‘I’m OCD’

Katherine Heigl is “OCD” when it comes to cleaning.
The Grey’s Anatomy actress — who stars alongside Scottish hunk Gerard Butler in new movie The Ugly Truth — says she’s obsessed with tidiness, which makes her difficult to live with.
“I’m definitely a little OCD, I’m particular about how I like things and how I want things,” said Heigl, who is married to musician Josh Kelley. “I’m also obsessed with making lists!”
Since marrying in 2007, Heigl says she has learned to compromise.
“You don’t have to necessarily completely change who you are to be with someone you want to be with, but you do have to compromise a little bit,” she said. “You have to let go of a little bit of yourself.
“Josh and I didn’t live together before we were married because I wanted to hang on to those last days of my single-girl pad as long as I could.
“I’m not going to lie — it was rough when we finally moved in together. It’s the simple stuff everyone talks about. I like things neat, he leaves things everywhere.”
