Michael Jackson’s Ex-Wife Wants What’s Best For The Kids

Debbie RoweMichael Jackson‘s ex-wife Debbie Rowe isn’t interested in (more) money — she just wants what’s best for the two children she had for the tragic King of Pop.

Rowe wed Jackson in 1996 (he was a patient in the dermatologist’s office, where she worked as a nurse). They divorced in 1999.

Rowe and Jackson had two children together: Prince, 12 and Paris, 11. During her custody fight with Jacko, Rowe agreed to give up her parental rights, insisting he was a good father.

Prince, Paris and Michael’s other son, Blanket, 7, are currently living with their grandmother, Katherine Jackson, at the Jackson family’s mansion in Encino, Calif.

And as speculation over who what will happen to the kids reaches fever-pitch, Rowe’s close friend, Marc Schaffel — and a former business partner of Jackson’s — insists, “At the end of the day, Debbie just wants what’s best for the children.

“Her interest is that the children are going to be taken care of.

“Does she have to live in a mansion in Beverly Hills? No. Would she probably go to a more secure, gated area if she were to get fulltime custody? Probably.

“Debbie does love those kids. She really does. Absolutely.”

“Debbie’s deal was that Michael would take care of the children,” Schaffel adds. “That’s what she was comfortable with.”

“Obviously, Michael had a very, very bad relationship with his father,” says Schaffel. “[In his will] he didn’t name Joe to watch his children. He named his mother. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that if Michael said in the past that he was beaten and roughed up by Joe, that he wouldn’t want his own children exposed to the same thing.”

    IN the first place; all these years have passed; she has had no contact with these beautiful 2 children. Now that Mr. Micheal Jackson has went to a better place Debbie decides to try and fight for custody for these children Paris, and Prince. The Jacksons have a large family with lots of love, and trust, in which Micheals children have learned and become used too. All 3 children need at this time more than ever is the love and trust in which no doubt they have gotten from Jackson’s Mother, and his siblings, Last I checked (being a mother of 2 myself) you actually have to be a mother not just give birth to them. She has not been there for years and now wants a relationship with these beatiful 3 children. (one not of hers) My belief as a Mother is you can give birth, but that does not mean you are a Mother. Please keep these children with whom they all know and have grown to love. The Jackson Family. I guess Debbie does not understand that 3 children have just lost their Daddy; The children dont even know her, do they? I was adopted, and I turned out allright, but I did’nt know my birth father. Its ok. Let the Jacksons take care of these children. Whether is Mrs. Jackson, Janet, or Rebbie. MY prayers to your family, and Paris, Prince, and Blanket. Love to you all from Colorado/Mary J
