Jennifer Lopez Plans to Expand Her Brood
Jennifer Lopez is planning to have more children.
The singer — who welcomed twins Max and Emme last year — revealed in an interview with US TV show Extra that she’s keen to expand her brood with husband Marc Anthony.
“I would love to have more kids,” Lopez said. “I don’t know if we will. I don’t know if that’s in the cards for us but we’ll see.”
Lopez is currently shooting her new movie The Back-up Plan, and the twins have accompanied her onset. “They’ve been with me almost every day on the set,” she says. “I don’t think [they realize what I do]. Once in awhile, they look at the monitor and go, ‘Mama.’ They’re just starting to talk.
“I put Max to bed yesterday… and I said, ‘I love you baby. I’ll see you tomorrow.’ And he was like, ‘I love you.’”
The Back-Up Plan, which hits theaters next year, tells the story of a single woman (Zoe, played by Lopez) who decides to get artificially inseminated in response to her ticking biological clock.
The role requires Jen to relive her pregnancy days with the help of a series of gradually growing prosthetic baby bumps.
“A bunch of us who have babies, we’re like, ‘It would be great when you are pregnant…You could take it off five times during the pregnancy, only for a half hour,” Lopez added. “Then you have to put it back on.’ That would be awesome. It would be perfect. But you can’t.”
