Ashley Tisdale has got herself a tattoo.

The High School Musical star denies the move was in rebellion against her good-as-gold High School Musical image — insisting her new addition of body art is not naughty or suggestive.

“I got a tattoo the other day. It says ‘Believe’ and has two stars. It’s something my mom has always told me — just to believe. It’s not anywhere naughty though,” she says. “It’s on my back. In the middle on the left.”

Tisdale, 23, recently revealed that she’s cautious when it comes to relationships — because she’s been let down in the past.

“I have definitely been cheated on. And with someone you really like, if they are cheating on you, you don’t want to believe it,” she said. “But, unfortunately, you either stay in the relationship and keep getting hurt because it keeps happening or you get up and you move on.

“You don’t look back. That’s something that’s very empowering and I think that you should [move on] because you’ll be much happier in the long run.”
