Jennifer Lopez could have saved herself a lot of heartache if she had listened to her husband.

The singer/actress — who is currently in New York filming her new movie The Back-Up Plan — was propositioned by Marc Anthony the first time they met when he predicted they would one day tie the knot – six years before they actually did.

“She came to see me back stage at a theater. As soon as she walked through the door I don’t know what hit me. But I probably said the worst thing.

“I said ‘You’re my wife and you don’t even know it’ and she was like ‘Excuse me? Well that’s intense.’ I had no idea where that came from. But she was very cute and now she gets it! She’s my girl.”

Lopez — who welcomed twins Max and Emme last year — recently revealed she’s planning to have more kids.

“I would love to have more kids,” she said. “I don’t know if we will. I don’t know if that’s in the cards for us but we’ll see.

“[Max and Emme] have been with me almost every day on the set. I don’t think [they realize what I do]. Once in awhile, they look at the monitor and go, ‘Mama.’ They’re just starting to talk. “I put Max to bed yesterday… and I said, ‘I love you baby. I’ll see you tomorrow.’ And he was like, ‘I love you.’”
