Zac Efron used to have an mustache.

The High School Musial actor admits he “rocked” embarrassing facial hair as a teenager.

“In high school there were guys who were really tall, there were burly guys on the football team who looked like my dad — and then there was me, who looked like a little kid. I was a late bloomer,” Efron told the UK’s TOTP magazine.

“I actually rocked a pubescent mustache for a while. It was so unattractive.

“I was not one of the cool kids. I wasn’t the heartthrob of the class in any way. I was just a regular kid.”

Efron — who is currently dating his HSM costar Vanessa Hudgens — recently revealed that he likes women with curves.

“I don’t know the exact measurements, but I like curvy girls, girls with hips,” he said.

“I’m also huge on legs – I love girls with nice, long, sexy legs. I don’t always find myself dating super-skinny girls.”
