Amy Winehouse Cleared of Assaulting Fan

Amy Winehouse has been cleared of assault.
The British singer was accused of lashing out at a female fan who politely asked her for a photograph at a charity ball.
The Rehab singer, 25, was alleged to have attacked Sherene Flash at the summer soiree in London last September.
But Winehouse on Friday walked away from court victorious after the judge threw out the case.
The star apparently expressed little emotion as Chief Magistrate Timothy Workman delivered his verdict at court three of City of Westminster.
He told the court that he “cannot be sure that this was not an accident. The charge is therefore dismissed and defendant discharged.”
Her father Mitch told reporters, “We’re delighted.”
Her spokesman Chris Goodman added, “Amy would like to thank her family, friends and her legal team for their support during this difficult time.
“She has always maintained her innocence and is very happy to move on with her life and put the episode behind her.”
