Anna Paquin is considering going back to college.

The former child star studied at Colombia University for one year before deferring to carry on with her acting and now she is thinking about returning to complete her course.

“Turns out I really like my job so I didn’t go back to Colombia after my first year,” she said. “But evidently they think I graduated because I was recently invited to a class reunion for class of 2004. I may take it up again at some point.

“I might still be enrolled there — I don’t know whether they automatically graduate you or consider you a drop out. Maybe I should look into that before I try and just turn up for class.”

Paquin, 26, recently revealed that she has only just seen her Oscar-winning performance in 1993 film The Piano.

“I never saw it when I was younger — mainly because there was a lot of sex,” she said. “I have only watched it recently — mainly so I can answer the question have I seen it!

“I figured that after almost 18 years since I filmed it I should probably see it. I really don’t know what the big fuss was about regarding my performance but I think everyone else was really great.”
