Katy Perry made an appearance at New York’s Rockefeller Center on Friday July 24, 2009. She was performing on NBC’s Today Show.

The I Kissed a Girl hitmaker recently revealed that she likes to date creative men.

“These days I’m attracted to creative men — musicians or artists who are able to express intense emotions through their work,” she told Britain’s Live! magazine. “How they look is secondary to how they stimulate me mentally.

“In high school, hunky was good enough for me and that’s how I ended up in a relationship with a golfer who was just about to turn pro. I had no interest in golf and he had no interest in music.

“We had absolutely nothing in common. It was doomed to fail and it did after a few months. No more golfers for me.”
