Robert Pattinson: ‘Fame Hasn’t Gone to my Head’

Posted by Adam

Robert PattinsonRobert Pattinson insists his fame hasn’t gone to his head.

The British actor — who became a household name playing vampire Edward Cullen in the smash hit Twilight movie franchise — says he still can’t believe how famous he has become — but deep down he is the same guy.

“I would like to think that I haven’t changed that much,” he said. “Within myself I don’t think I have changed but I guess that outwardly — like when I walk down the street I look down a little more often.

“But this is just extraordinary. I don’t think any of us expected this to happen and it just seems to keep building and building.”

Sources on the New York set of Rob’s new movie Remember Me recently claimed that the hunk is aloof, stuck-up and demanding.

“I don’t know what the guy’s problem is,” one source told Star magazine. “He goes from his trailer to the shoot and completely ignores all the fans who have been waiting around to see him. It’s so obnoxious.

“We had a couple days where it was really hot on set, and he wanted a specific kind of water, an iced lemonade, all this stuff that we didn’t have. So this poor assistant had to run around getting all these things. He wasn’t even thankful.”

Who cares if he was obnoxious for ONCE?! and then tell us this ‘source’ you cant probably because they are in your little obsessed rumor-making world, he said himself that fame hasnt gone to his head, HIMSELF…then of course some imaginary weirdo says he was a bit diva-ish one day and everyone turns a cheek on him saying hes fine. jaysus

Personally, I think that when actors are trying to concentrate on filming, even if they are taking a break, they will sometimes go to a place in their own head, so they dont break their persona. It takes alot to stay in character, it may not sound or seem like it, but it takes alot of concentration.

ON TOP OF THAT…. this poor guy must see 10s of thousands of females standing around that set everyday and probably has for the last few months. It must get a bit tiresome to go up and spend your lunchbreak signing autographs. He went from a virtual unknown to having girls screaming and running wherever he is. I am surprised he hasnt had a meltdown.
