Katherine Heigl fell in love with Josh Kelley within five weeks of meeting him.

The actress — who stars alongside Scottish actor Gerard Butler in new movie The Ugly Truth — says she knew almost straight away that musician Josh was the man for her.

The couple got engaged in June 2006 and married in December 2007. They met on the set of Josh’s music video for Only You.

“I was in love with him in five weeks, and in nine months, I knew I wanted to marry him,” Heigl said. “Even though we may argue, he is my best friend. It sounds cheesy, but he is.”

Heigl, 30, also shared her thoughts on starting a family.

“Pregnancy scares me,” she said. “I know I’ll be one of those women who looks pregnant all over the body. I’ll get fatter and fatter from my toes up.

“We’re working on it. It’s just we are supercrazed. Neither of us want to give up our careers, neither of us want to just be parents, but you have to slow down a little to devote the time that’s needed.”
