Amy Winehouse‘s ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil insists he’s to blame for the singer’s troubles — because he introduced her to drugs.

Blake, who was recently granted a quickie divorce from the star, has revealed how he gave Amy her first hit of heroin.

“I got a bit [heroin] for myself and she looked at me and said, ‘Can I have some?’” Fielder-Civil told British newspaper The Sun.

“I was out of my mind on drugs and I said, ‘Of course.’

“She took to heroin like a duck to water.”

As her career began to take off following the success of her second album Back to Black, Winehouse hit rock bottom as she became dependent on her crack pipe, Blake claims.

“She smoked after every song and without her next hit she wouldn’t go on,” he said.

“The only thing she cared about was her crack pipe.”

Meanwhile, Winehouse is reportedly having the recording studio she used in the Caribbean flown back home to London so she can “knuckle down” and finish her eagerly-awaited third album.

Amy’s Island record label bosses paid for the shipping. “They hope it will encourage her to knuckle down,” a source said.
