Gerard Butler’s Dream Date Walked Out on Him!

Gerard Butler once met the woman of his dreams — but she walked out halfway through their date!
The Scottish actor — who is widely-rumored to be dating his The Bounty costar Jennifer Aniston — has told how love once slipped through his fingers while taking a comfort break at a restaurant.
“I had a date once where I went to the toilet and then when I came back out, she had left,” he said. “The bartender said, ‘Oh s***, I didn’t know you were in the restroom.
“She thought you had gone and she left.’ I never saw her again. It was actually a great date we had. To this day, I don’t know why I never called her.”
Butler recently revealed that his penchant for telling dirty jokes landed him his role opposite Katherine Heigl in new movie The Ugly Truth.
“One of the main reasons I ended up doing The Ugly Truth was that I was doing an action movie where I play very dark and brooding,” he said. “At night, I would go to dinner with the guys from Lakeshore (Entertainment), and I would tell dirty jokes and be vulgar, and they kept going, ‘You should do The Ugly Truth.’ I had never read the script and, finally, I read it and I went, ‘Okay, I get it’.”
