Jessica Simpson Won’t Get Back With John Mayer

Jessica SimpsonIf you’re expecting Jessica Simpson to rekindle her romance with former flame John Mayer, then you’re going to be very disappointed!

Simpson split from beau Tony Romo on July 9 — the night before her 29th birthday. It was then rumored that John — who has previously dated Jennifer Aniston — might want to get back with his ex-girlfriend.

But Mayer’s pal Rob Dyrdek insists the No Such Thing hitmaker has no intention of healing Jessica’s broken heart.

“Absolutely not,” Dyrdek told People magazine when asked of the rumors Mayer was set to get back with Simpson.

Meanwhile, it has been claimed that Simpson has gone on a diet to get her “old body” back.

“Right after Tony ended things, Jessica said, ‘I want my old body back,’” a friend of the singer told OK! magazine. “She went into her kitchen, got a trash bag and started to clear it out.

“Jess is serious about getting her body back into fighting shape.

“Working out is helping to give her focus and clear her head. It’s better than sitting around moping or throwing pity parties with ice cream sundaes.”

Jessica reportedly dropped 10 pounds in just the first 10 days of working out.

“She doesn’t want to give anyone more reason to not take her seriously,” explains the pal. “She’s tired of weight being a talking point.”

    I think her dad should have stayed out of her marriage to Nick for he’s the best and best looking of all the men who entered her life. Romo wasn’t special but he was better than John Mayer who’s a massive over ego’d amazing jerkoff. I mean that guy is a huge mistake all the way around and rather dirty looking besides having a weird face. Hey. direct Jennifer to Nick who loved her no matter how she looked. He was a family type guy who loved her for so long when she didn’t look back and didn’t deserve him. These other freakly relationships are the payback for how mean she was to leave him. Her dad should mind his own business for he’s the real creep in the bush.
