Jennifer Aniston to Star in a Musical?

Jennifer Aniston is set to star in — and produce — a musical.
The former Friends actress, 40, and her producing partners have secured the financing for her upcoming film project Goree Girls, a women’s prison musical set in the 1940s, Life & Style magazine reports.
“Jennifer has finally signed on the dotted line to make Goree Girls her next movie as both star and producer,” a source said. “She is gearing up to shoot this during the first eight weeks of 2010.”
Goree Girls is based on a true story about female inmates in a Texas prison who form the first ever all-women country act. They become popular and eventually are granted pardons.
It was recently claimed that Aniston was planning to open her own restaurant.
“Jennifer is really passionate about cooking,” a source said. “She recently had a new kitchen fitted and she loves it.
“She can cook anything from Mexican meals to Italian food to cakes. She does use cookbooks but mainly they are her own recipes.
“Everyone says she should open her own restaurant and she said she would love to.”
