Debbie Rowe Praised by Lawyer
Debbie Rowe’s lawyer is “proud” to have worked with her — because she acted with “integrity and selflessness” while reaching a custody deal with the Jackson family over the custody of the two children she had with ex-husband Michael Jackson.
“The parties engaged in a dignified discussion that resulted in a dignified outcome,” attorney Eric George told Us Weekly magazine Thursday. “The sole consideration between the parties was the best interests of the children.
“I’m proud to have worked with such professionals who represented Ms. Jackson, and I am particularly proud of Deborah for her integrity and selflessness.”
Katherine Jackson’s attorneys, L. Londell McMillan and Diane Goodman, added, “Mrs. Jackson and the family are pleased this matter is resolved and was handled in a caring, thoughtful and courteous manner by the parties and their representatives.
“We were all united in our goals to do what is best for Michael’s wonderful children, and both Mrs. Jackson and Debbie Rowe were on the exact same page. Accordingly, although important issues had to be resolved, this was no legal contest but rather simply a process doing the right thing for the right reasons.”
The custody deal, as confirmed by the lawyers, is as follows: Deborah Rowe shall exercise visitation rights with the two oldest children, Prince, 11, and Paris, 12. The timing, frequency and manner of visits shall be implemented according to the best interests of the children, as determined by a child psychologist selected jointly, and paid jointly, by Katherine Jackson and Deborah Rowe.
The parties have neither sought nor agreed to any compensation to be exchanged, apart from the continuation of spousal support payments that had previously been personally agreed to between Michael Jackson and Deborah Rowe.
The agreement says Rowe has no parental rights to Blanket, Jackson’s youngest child.
TMZ reported earlier today that Rowe wants and will get a psychologist who will visit the children and help them adjust to her being in their lives on a meaningful basis.

i am glad debbie will be in there lives, the children are growing up and will know she is there mother at least now they are not the only ones who don’t know, it’s a fact that can’t be hidden any longer,but i’d watch those jacksons, they are the real money ones,they see a chance to get all micheals money now,i’d make sure there part is put in a trust where no one can get to it or those kids will be broke when they get grown!!no one but janet brings in any money and katherine ,well shes 80!!
I agree, this is good news. Debbie knew another side to Michael and having lived with him knows how he wanted these children to be brought up. I’m sure Debbie’s visits will help to make sure Michael’s wishes are respected. It will save Prince and Paris having questions about it later.
