While she looks very nice, Penelope Cruz probably shouldn’t have worn this particular outfit (red!) to a red carpet event.
The classy Spanish beauty attended the UK premiere of her new movie Broken Embraces in London Thursday.
Broken Embraces, a Spanish film, is set in the 1990s and present day. The film centers on a four-way tale of dangerous love, and was shot in the style of a hard-boiled 1950s American film noir. It hits American movie theaters on November 20.
On the red carpet, the Oscar-winner bemoaned the British weather. “I love London… but I have difficulties with the rainy weather,” she said.
She then added, “I have decided it is not going to rain.”
Cruz, 35, recently revealed that she doesn’t spend ages getting dressed.
“I think every woman likes clothes but I don’t put a lot of time into that,” she said. “I don’t like doing long fittings and putting a lot of time into that.
“When I am not doing this promotional kind of thing I am always in casual clothes like jeans and T-shirts. We have to use these beautiful dresses for the premieres and all of th
