Sienna Miller has revealed how she suffered a “semi-breakdown” following the controversy surrounding her highly-publicized affair with married actor Balthazar Getty.

The British star says her emotions got the better of her after the word “slut” was graffitied across the front wall of her London home.

“I got to a point where I was like, ‘I will just run away’,” she said. “It was just breaking my spirits, and I had been pretty resilient for a long time.

“I was not able to leave the house and was living in a state of fear, when I’m really a fearless person.

“I had a kind of semi-breakdown… and everything just became too much. It was cutting me up to the point where I thought it wasn’t worth it.

‘I thought, ‘Either I try and take them on, or if I can’t, I don’t do this anymore’.

“Things are calmer now. I’m not rebelling against something every day anymore’.”

She had a breakdown, what about Rosetta Getty,grow up and stop playing the victim. I saw a photo of Rosetta just after the affair came to light, and she looked devastated. Nothing you say is believable because everything changes from day to day, read your own comments and then you might get it right.

This is why SM loses credibility. She has an exaggerated sense of entitlement and lacks respect/empathy/compassion for others.
How many ways can she play the victim? How many ways is she going to try to justify her affair? She couldn’t go on? She didn’t think it(her public affair?) was worth it? She couldn’t do it(flaunt her affair?)? What about the married man’s wife and kids? Has she ever once stopped to think about how they were going to cope with this very public affair?

Despite what she says, SM has not(nor will she ever) suffer more than the married man’s wife and kids. So someone(aka SM and her mother) “vandalized” her house, how does that compare to seeing tons of pictures of one’s husband publicly sucking/grabbing on another woman’s breast in public and then to have that very same woman spread lies about oneself? She was/is having a very public affair with a still very married man and didn’t/doesn’t care about the breakdown that was/is caused by those photos of her publicly engaging in pda/sexual acts with the married man or prancing around all over the place with the married man, so no one really cares about her “broken spirit, semi-breakdown, or how she was living in fear”. If she wanted to “run away, had broken spirit, couldn’t leave her house, or living in a state of fear”, then imagine how RG and her 4 kids must have felt. In an attempt to play the victim and justify her affair, she just made herself look much worse (which I didn’t think was even possible considering that her public image is as low as it can go)and made the public even more sympathetic towards RG and her 4 kids.

She couldn’t do this anymore or leave her house because she was in a state of fear? Obviously she could do it, thought it was worth it, and wasn’t in a state a fear because even after her so-called “breakdown” she continued to tip off the paps and prance around with the married man. So when exactly was her “spirit broken” or she in a state of fear? When she pranced around London wearing the married man’s watch? Went to a club with the married man wearing shorts to reveal the bruises that she received from having sex with him? Partied until 3 AM with the married men and tipped off the paps so that they could see it? Groped the married man outside of a bar? Stuck her tongue in the married man’s ear? Released stories about how she and the married man were house hunting? When was SM spirit broken because all the public saw was a vindictive and selfish woman not taking any consideration for the woman and children that were hurt as a result of this very pubic affair/responsibility for her actions. She is simply whining about her “breakdown and living in fear” because she can’t believe that the public didn’t support her very public affair with a married man.

Things are calmer and she isn’t rebelling against something? Wasn’t she just spotted vacationing with the married man on Father’s Day? Everytime she steps out with the married man or spreads lies about the married man’s wife and kids, she is making things less calmer for RG and her 4 kids and thus rebelling against something. When she states that she isn’t rebelling against something why do I get the feeling that she is talking about BG’s wife/kids(depicts them as villians in hopes that people will sympathize with them less and her more) or thinks whining/posing for magainzes redeems her image and makes it okay for her to flaunt her affair?

So why was it not okay for the DJ to ask about BG, but is now okay for her to “reveal how she suffered a breakdown following the controversy surrounding her highly-publicized affair with married actor Balthazar Getty”? Why was it okay for her to ridicule JL for his infidelity, but not okay for the public to hold her to the same standard that she imposes on JL? For once in her life she needs to take responsibility for her actions and stop playing the victim. It’s not the public’s fault that she had a “semi-breakdown over her very public affair with a married man”. If everything was just too much/she thought it wasn’t worth it, then she should have BACKED OFF and left the married man alone until he filed for a divorce.

So now she is trying to saway the public by talking about her house being vandalized? Talking about her “vandalized house” won’t redeem her image or make it okay for her to resume flaunting her affair during/after the promotion of GI Joe.

If her house was “vandazalized”, then it was probably at the hands of SM and her mother. Funny, how those paps who are always stalking her so much so that she has to move to another place to get away from them didn’t catch anyone writing “slut” on her house.

BTW, it’s interesting that these stories about her being traumitized come just as the married man was spotted with his wife. Poor SM, she is her own worst enemy. She couldn’t stand the fact that the married man was spending more time with his wife, so she released stories about how she, not RG and he r4 kids, is the victim. She is really burning bridges, I wouldn’t be surprised if HB and the broadway play drops her. Who wants to associate with a woman who is so vindictive?

all your comments are fair enough! but nobody is having a go at getty are they! it takes two to have an affair and yeah ok maybe sienna shouldn’t be flaunting it to everybody and his wife! but i think people should start critisizin getty. he is the one who allowed it to happen! he knows he is married so why not have some self control and tell sienna NO!?!

Getty has gotten his fair share of criticism. No one has a “get go” at BG because he has enough common sense to LAY LOW and SHUT UP. It is SM that keeps trying to justify the affair by labeling as a “romance”, as if “love” makes everything that the publis has witnessed okay. It is SM that keeps the “but they were separated, he was unhappy, it was over when I stepped in the picture, they have an open relationship” lies alive. It is SM that plays the victim over and over again, how many times is she going to whine about how she is suffering while she reaps havoc in the lives of 5 innocent people? SM is quick to judge JL and the nanny for their affair, so why shouldn’t she be held by the same standard that she imposed on them? It is SM that tells the world that she cares about the plight of women and children, so why shouldn’t she be held to this standard in regards to her affair with a another woman’s husband? She talks says that she cares about those victims of war in the Congo, yet she truly doesn’t grasp the concept of what it means to be a victim because EVERY WEEK she finds a way to transform her bad behavior into a sob story about how people are picking on her for no apparant reason. This sob story about her “suffering” works against her. Why? Because not once does she take responsibility for her actions or even acknowledge how her actions hurt someone else. The only thing that comes across in this story is “me, me, me, look at me”. SM is her own worst enemy, she makes things worse for herself because she doesn’t know when to shut up.

By that same logic, SM knew that BG was a married man and still knows that he is a married man, so where was/is SM self-control and why didn’t/doesn’t she have the decency to tell the married man no?

ok again fair point … i’m guessin u really don’t like sienna much!?!?
but the fact that she was hurt by jude in similar circumstances u would think she would know how much it hurts … but maybe it is a deflected revenge thing!! on previous occassions sm has said that she would seriously harm the woman that jude had the affair with .. and personally i didn’t know who getty was until he was spotted with his tongue half way down her throat!?!? so i dunno!!

What is there to like about a woman who is so utterly disrespectful towards other women and will stoop to any means to demean another human being just because she wants that woman’s husband/boyfriend? I would understand if she took some responsibility for her actions, but she wants to escape all of the consequences of her actions while being allowed to continue the behavior that got her into trouble. She has no right to whine about how she had a semi-breakdown when she was spotted sticking her tongue in the married man’s ear and tried to justify it with the “just friends” defense, say that the married man and his wife have an open relationship, or bring up how her house was “vandalized”. The simplest solution would be to wait until the married man files for a divorce and then stage those photo-ops.

I have seen tons of critism of BG. BG lost his job and has been called by every name in the book. Everytime someone says that the married man is 100% responsible for the affair (while SM gets a free pass simply because she was the single one and wasn’t the one who made any promises to BG’s wife), that is a criticism of BG and a double standard(it implies that BG is responsible for SM actions and that women don’t have to respect the relationships of other women/take responsibility for their actions). The biggest difference between SM and BG is that he LAYS LOW and keeps his mouth shut. When people call him names, he does’t counteract it by whining about how the public has a vendetta against him or how their is no brotherhood. He doesn’t put out sob stories about how he had a “semi-breakdown” during the course of the affair. If she doesn’t like being called a homewrecker, then she needs to stop sleeping with a married man and acting as if she is entitled to do so. If she doesn’t like being called a “slut”, then perhaps she should stop going after men who are attached to other women and then rubbing the affair in these women’s faces. She gets no sympathy because she still continues to flaunt her affair knowing full well that it is hurtful.

u maybe right but you don’t know if or how it has been twisted by how it has been reported … sienna has had to stop the paps harrasing her and having crap written about her!!!
and yes she shouldn’t be going after married men, but she has in this case and is merely expressing how her decision whether it be right or wrong has had this effect!!
i personally like her she is a good actress and i think she deserves a little less critisism on certain areas of her life.
so i’d just say agree to disagree on certain aspects but you are right if they have had an affair they should both expect the repercussions, don’t get me wrong i’m not approving of it but maybe people that it doesn’t involve should not be vandalising her home!!

The paps are harassing SM? It’s more like SM tips them off and then throws a temper tantrum when she doesn’t get the desired outcome(ie-sues the paps for not spinning the affair in her favor). When exactly did SM stop the paps from harassing her? When she tipped them off so that they could capture her vacationing with the married man in Italy not once, not even twice, but three times? She has managed to avoid the paps on several occasions, so if she doesn’t want to be seen/heard believe me she would not be seen/heard. Not to mention there are celebs who are more famous than SM who manage to keep their private lives private. So if these celebs can do this, then you know that SM can do the same.

Considering that she went off on the DJ for even bringing up BG and keeps whining about how she doesn’t have any privacy, she is no position to talk about how she had a “breakdown”. What’s missing from SM “breakdown” sob story? REMORSE or EMPATHY. For someone who claims to care so much about the plight of women and children, rehashing this story just shows how little respect and empathy she has for other women. Not once does she consider how the affair was hurtful towards RG and her 4 kids and she proved this by showing up with the married man on Father’s Day. This is just another “me,me, me ,look at me” stunt where she once again blames someone else for her bad actions and tries to act as if she is suffering more than the real victims.

3) In regards to the vandalization, it was just another stunt orchestrated by SM and her mothers to gain sympathy. Why? Check out her Vogue interview and what she did immediately following it. She has proven that she would do just about anything to get people to feel sorry for her. If she lied about being single and learning her lesson in the Vogue interview, then what else is she lying about? SM lies and we have all of her staged photo-ops and PR releases as proof. Like she pretends that her parents have morals(ie-can’t see her sex scenes), yet her own mother was sitting right next to her as she kissed the married man topless.

4) SM isn’t having this affair because she was hurt by JL. That is just another attempt to blame someone else for her bad behavior. She was cheated on, so she goes and hurts another woman who has done nothing to hurt her? That makes SM sound vindictive.

5)The only one twisting anything is SM. To deflect from her bad behavior she plays the victim, passes the buck, depicts the married man’s wife as a villian, or put outs stories about her “great beauty and sense of style”. If she was smart, she would stop this nonsense. Every week, the public has to hear about how everything that happens to her is someone else’s fault. Where is her accountability? Instead of trying to twist things in her favor, why won’t she just do the right thing?

SM will get a little less criticism on certain areas of her life when she learns to live by those standards that she imposes on others, stops lying so much(with her it is so obvious because she shares every detail of her life with the public/media-did we really need to know that she had a “breakdown”, escially when she was spotted sticking her tongue in the married man’s war?), stops expecting the media to clean up the messes that she creates(ie-she does something bad and all of a sudden it’s the media’s fault for not editing her words/photos the right way), stops waging the a war against the media, stops being such a hypocrite, and stops acting like she is entitled to do whatever she wants without having to ever deal with the consequences of her actions(ie- whining about her breakdown but then being spotted with the married man several times following this breakdown).

wow!!! which vogue interview i couldn’t find the one u meant???

she had a court injunction put in place end of 2008 to stop paps taking pictures of her in the uk. they aren’t allowed to camp outside her home etc etc!!! so if she was fixing it so they are there to take shots why go through the hassle of a court case!?! yes there are other more famous celebs that manage to be papped less but i think the paps have a bit more respect for them and give them the space!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QaC9IRx3THE proves that she is followed to extreme levels!!!
she has been quoted recently saying “on the whole, you know, i’ve made some bad choices and done some stupid things” so surely that counts as takin responsibility for her actions. and balthazar has gone back to his wife (more fool her) and sienna insists she is single! so who knows!! all i know is to vandalise somebodies home when it is an issue that doesn’t directly concern you is out of order especially when all the info u have has been sourced from tabloids and trashy magazines!?!?

And she should apologize publicly for having the affair to Rosetta! If she really wants sympathy and ahe is ready to act honorable do so. The truth is we all think she beautiful and got skills (other than sex) and we want to welcome her with open arms but hav been unable to do so because of her actions.

1) Which vogue interview? The one where she is featured on the cover.

2) If she had a court junction to stop paps ffrom taking pictures of her, then why are there still pictures of her poppin gup all over the place?

3)Funny that you say that the paps are not allowed to camp outside SM home. SM has been spotted going in and out of her home so if the paps are not allowed to be there, then that means that SM gave them the permission. Thus proving that she set it up and courts attention. SM courts attention, there is no doubt about it. How is she managed to evade the paps on several occasions if the paps are always stalking he or are following her to a extreme level? She went on a trip with the married man to Mexico, yet there weren’t any photos of her sunbathing or kissing all over the married man. So if she was followed to extremes like you claim, there would be pictures of her and the married man together on the Mexixo trip.

4)Taking responsibility is saying that YOU WERE WRONG without sneaking in any stipulations (ie-deflecting from one’s behavior by passing the buck or playing the victim. SM has not taken responsibility for her actions because she finds a way to turn herself into the victim.

5) How many times has SM insisted that she was SINGLE and then showed up in public with the married man? No one believes this single nonsense because she said it in the Vogue interview and then showed up in Italy sticking her tongue in the married man’s ear on Father’s Day and she said that she was single and then showed up on Thanksgiving with the married man. SM is only single while she is promoting something. Give it two weeks or the end of the GI Joe promotion, she will be prancing around with the married man again.

BG has gone back to his wife? And we know this how? Because he was spotted out in public with his wife? Well, he’s pulled this stunt before-go out in public with wife to show everyone that she isn’t suffering and then show up in public with his mistress on a family holiday.

6) SM is a liar and she had proved this over and over again. Would SM vandalize her home if she thought that it would help her? Yes. This is supported by the manner in which she has conducted herself during the affair. She wore the breast-sucking dress on BG’s kid’s birthday, so yes she would trash her own house to make herself out to be the victim.

That’s just it. How is that no one saw anyone vandalizing her house? If the assertion is that the paps are always following her to extremes, then surely they would have STOPPED the perpetrators or gotten a photo of them. SM even lied and said that she and her mother cleaned up the house, yet if that were true, the paps who are “always following her to extremes” would have gotten pictures of this as well. SM was spotted leaving her house, so there are no restrictions on the paps being outside her house (that is unless she invited them and gave them permission to be there).

ok look i don’t want to argue with u, and of course if it had happened to me i would have a different approach but my issue is that people are judging her and vandalising her home on a situation that they don’t know all the details of why/how and for what reason it happened. the only people who know what happened truly are balthazar, sienna and rosetta.

yeas there is a rose glass tint approach if it was someone u like then u would want to stand up for them too!! (by the way who do u like???) i have met sienna a few times and she has always been absolutley lovely, so of course i will try to defend her!

but i am not denying she is wrong if she has had affair with him but that is her business and doesn’t mean people can go after her and abuse her and vandalise her home.

my advice to u is if u see an article about her just ignore it!! problem solved!!

SM is a 27 yo ADULT, so stop making excuses for her bad behavior. The married man was married and rather than tell him no or keep the affair discreet SM opted to put on a very public show and tell. It doesn’t matter what the married man might have told her or whether or not his marriage “might” have been going through something, HE WAS A MARRIED MAN and she should have walked away/waited until he filed for a divorce before publicly engaging in pda/sexual acts with him or spreading lies about the married man’s wife. You don’t need to know the details to understand that 5 people were hurt by this affair, especially when SM made a big deal out of what JL did to her. You don’t need to know the details when SM is constantly using the media to rub the affair in the married man’s wife’s face.

You meet SM ONE time and based on this one encounter you think that she is “lovely”? Sounds like something out of a fairytale. First of all, you are fan, so it’s natural that she would be on her best behavior in front of you. Second, ONE encounter with a person isn’t a good predictor of a person’s character(ie-Ted Bundy was a clean cut guy that didn’t send any red flags when people saw him but he was a brutal serial killer/rapist). Third, the biggest indicator of SM character is the manner in which she conducted herself during this affair and this is evidenced in the tons of photo-ops and PR stories that she has graced the public with. Because she won’t lay low/shut up/stop tipping off the paps we know that she is irresponsible, selfish, an attention-seeker,self-centered, a serial liar, lacks compassion/empathy/self-respect, has an exaggerated sense of entitlement, doesn’t respect other women or their relationships, and doesn’t think before she speaks.

If it’s her business then she needs to STOP tipping off the paps so that they can capture her business and STOP publicly playing the victim EVERY WEEK. This woman has shown on mutiple occasions that she will say and do whatever it takes if she can somehow benefit from it, so the vandalization was orchestrated by SM and her mother. If she was so distraught over her house being vandalized, then why did she continue to prance around with the married man? If she is always followed by the paps like you claim, how come no one saw anyone vandalizing SM home?

My advice to you is that if you don’t like the fact that people won’t employ the “see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil” mentality in regards to SM bad behavior and public affair, then IGNORE IT or worship someone who isn’t having a very public affair with a married man and rubbing it in his wife’s face as she plays the victim. As long as she continues to wage a war against a mother and her 4 kids, people are going to comment. You do not have the authority to tell people what they can and can not write on a message board. A comment like this just shows that you are upset because no one is buying the spin that “SM feels remorse” for what she has done.

6) You are not denying that SM is wrong? Well when you blame others for SM bad behavior, you are doing just that.
