Kristen Stewart Denies Robert Pattinson Romance

Kristen Stewart and Robert PattinsonKristen Stewart has shot down rumors she’s dating her Twilight and New Moon costar Robert Pattinson – insisting they’re just good pals.

Rumors of a romance have been rife for months, with recent reports claiming they spent the night together at a hotel in San Diego.

But Kristen, 19, is adamant she’s still with her longtime boyfriend, actor Michael Angarano.

Asked by Britain’s Top of The Pops magazine if the dating rumors are true, Kristen said, “No. Rob and I are good friends.

“We went through a lot together, so we feel very close. I’ve acquired a good buddy and that’s a big deal, but I haven’t left my boyfriend for Robert Pattinson!”

Kristen and Rob, 23, reunited at Comic-Con in San Diego last Thursday.

The pair had spent most of the summer apart. Kristen has been in Los Angeles filming Joan Jett biopic The Runaways; Robert has been in New York filming indie drama Remember Me.

The duo attended the eagerly-awaited event to promote the Twilight sequel.

During interviews, Stewart wasn’t as forthcoming when quizzed about her love life.

When one reporter asked Rob and Kris about their romantic relationship, Kristen rolled her eyes, laughed and said, “Are you kidding me?”

Another reporter said, “This question is for Kristen and Robert. You guys have great chemistry on film, romantically. Is there any chemistry off camera?”

    I’m not buying this at all!!!! This is so unbelievable especially when Kristen has been so busy working on her up-coming film, THE RUNAWAYS. I really do hope both Rob and Kristen end up being a couple when everything is finished but then again, it’s their lives and it’s their choice whether they want to be together or not. Just imagine if those two became an item for their fans sake and “GOD FORBID” that the two end up breaking up… wouldn’t that cause them to no longer act together… would we literally want to hurt them that way… it’s better off seeing then as great friends, if that were the situation. I am a great fan of ROBSTEN and I literally do prefer them being together in main ways.

    Back to the story! I don’t think Kristen is dating her ex, Michael Angarano, since she hasn’t been spotted being with him in months (Just think, Michael was fooling around with Kristen while filming NEW MOON, a movie that involves both Kristen and Rob, but why isn’t he spending time with Kristen while filming THE RUNAWAYS, a movie where Rob is no where to be SEEN!) Both Kristen and Rob are talented in so many ways and I wish them “ALL THE BEST!” for now and in the future!

    Ok that is so stupid Kristen said the exact same thing like along time ago why are you just repeating it? Theres no doubt Rob and Kristen are dating. It says that she said ‘I haven’t left my boyfriend for Robert Pattinson!’ Well if they’re still together then wheres the proof. You don’t see Kris and Michael hanging out anywhere. and in the beginning of the summer when she returned home from finishing New Moon she didn’t go running to Michael. Wheres he been lately if they’re really still dating huh? And plus Michael hasn’t been hanging around the runways set. If they were still together he’d be hanging around with Kristen in between takes. And finally you don’t see pictures of them anymore. It’s like Michael has just fallen off the face of the earth. He’s not where to be seen.

    Wow you guys are really sad publishing old stuff Kristen said along time ago. theres plenty of proof that Kristen is dating Michael. 1). You don’t see them in pictures anymore or him in pictures anymore 2). When Kristen returned home she didn’t go running off to see here boyfriend 3). At the MTV movie awards Michael wasn’t there with Kris instead she was with Rob sitting next to him and everything. 4).     Wow this whole Robert-Kristen obsession is pathetic! While I agree it is doubtful Kristen is with Michael anymore, I see no indications that Rob and her are together. It’s rather pathetic that so many feel so invested in them that they just feel that have to be a couple. Get over it, let them choose who they want for themselves!

    I think all of this is for publicity. They are probably not even together. Her boyfriend is probably having to sneak around to see her so we’ll all believe that her and robert are together to keep the magazine sales and future movie sales rolling in. In the end if they are together, good for them. If not, Oh well not the end of the world. If they are together and break up it will probably make the movies not so good considering all their “CHEMISTRY” will be gone. One more thing, don’t you think if he has hooked up with her best friend Nikki Reed that it would be a little shady and gross for to be sleeping with him now.

    This is soooo not true, I am sure this interview if there was ever an interview is really old. Michael Angarano used to follow Kristen as a puppy all over the world, do you think if they were still together he wouldn’t be all over the Runaways set, after all it is in his backyard, they are OVER. And I am not sure if Robsten are an item, I really hope that they are because their attraction is really obvious and they both seem low key, have a passion for music, and are extremely grounded actors.

    This story is old. I remember the exact words and yes it was a while back. I have noticed how they act around each other and it is on. Mike is old news and you guys are right. Where is he??? I love Robert and Kristen they are great actors and I wish them all the best.

    and Kristen said she’s still with michael and she’s not with Rob, maybe Michael is not in LA, it’s why we don’t see them together

    We all know that this story is old. I wish Kristen and Rob all of the best with acting and whatever. They have put everything at stake to make these movies. That is what has us all talking about them isn’t it. We whould hardly know them if that were not the case. I do wish that these rag-mags would check the facts before putting out such trash. I have not seen ONE picture of her with MIKE-SMIKE!!! I do not have a camera in her apartment to see what is really going on but I’d love to see her and Rob together.     This does seem to be from an old interview. And yes, it’s odd that in almost 3 months there has not been one siting of Michael and Kristen together, anywhere. I don’t know if she broke up with him for Rob, but, if you remember back in April/May it was reported that Michael popped the question (Will you marry me?)to Kristen and it was reported she said NO. Well, I don’t know about you, but that might be the reason HE broke up with HER and maybe not the other way around. Think about it, his pride and ego might have been crushed. He probably was overreacting to the Rob/Kris reports and tried to hold on to her any way he could. Don’t know if that was the smartest move. Don’t know if Kris and Rob are dating. Do they have great chemistry on screen? You betcha…but don’t know if that means they are dating. Certainly they are great friends and that comes with working so closely together. Let’s face it, the subject matter is very emotional and sometimes the lines are blurred, life starts to imitate art and vice-a-versa. In any case, these poor kids need a break from the media and from work. You say, well, I got to work every day, well, being in the arts, it’s a tough job, emotionally and physically. They need a break from everything!

    This is all so freakin ridiculous! Now there is a story that all of a sudden Kristen broke up with Rob because he spent so much time with Emilie, and that Kristen is back with Michael. I am soooooo over all this crap! These “reporters” must be frustrated soap opera wannabe writers! Leave these two young people alone to do the work they love and live their lives on their own terms. If Rob and Kristen want to be together, they will find a way and should be left alone. If Kristen wants to be with Michael, so be it. The only thing I care about at this point is that Rob and Kristen are believable on screen and make be believe Edward and Bella are in love. Personally, I think they would make a truly remarkable couple off-screen, but only they can make that choice. The look beautiful together and seem to act so cute with each other, but maybe that’s all it is – they are just acting, which is what they do best.

    Why hasn’t anyone considered the fact that they have been in two movies together. Although his presence in the second movie is not that great, anyone who knows Twilight knows that there is still ridiculous chemistry between the two characters. Maybe the fact of the matter is that Kristen and Rob’s protrayal of such great chemistry caused them to have a greater relationship outside of filming, either friendship or something more. But also considere that their body language is just possibly a natural reaction to how they usually are when they are on set.

    Nothing makes me happier than to see two people in love. But if it isn’t that, then leave it be. And if it is, they clearly don’t want anyone to know, so just wait until they are ready to go public.
