Ashlee Simpson schedules her entire life around her baby son.

The actress welcomed Bronx Mowgli Wentz, her first child with husband Pete Wentz, in November last year.

And the tiny tot has the cast and crew at Simpson’s new TV show Melrose Place so tightly wrapped around his little finger they have to time filming to coincide with his naps and playtime.

“Bronx is on a normal schedule now and sleeps through the night,” says Simpson. “He gets two naps a day so we schedule everything around him and when he can come to set with me.

“Luckily, I have great people around me to help me out and make sure it goes perfectly. The great thing about being a part of an ensemble cast, is there are some days when you aren’t working and other weeks that are really hectic.”

Ashlee, 24, recently revealed that she refuses to read anything negative that’s written about her family.

“I don’t read anything. If it’s sweet and positive, I might read it,” she said. “Jess, Pete and I all do that. If it’s a good review or a nice story, we might read it. But if somebody just wants to be mean for no reason, then we choose to ignore it.”
