Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt Enjoy Romantic Meal For Two

Angelina JolieAngelina Jolie and Brad Pitt continued to defy rumors of domestic un-bliss at the weekend — they left their six kids at home and enjoyed a romantic meal for two Saturday at Vincenti, a sophisticated Italian eatery in L.A.’s Brentwood neighborhood.

The restaurant offers an affordable range of pasta and pizza dishes on an Italian-English menu and an extensive wine list.

In a recent interview with Parade magazine, Pitt, 45, revealed why he won’t wed Jolie.

“I have love in my life, a soul mate — absolutely,” he said. “When someone asked me why Angie and I don’t get married, I replied, ‘Maybe we’ll get married when it’s legal for everyone else.’ I stand by that, although I took a lot of flak for saying it—hate mail from religious groups. I believe everyone should have the same rights. They say gay marriage ruins families and hurts kids. Well, I’ve had the privilege of seeing my gay friends being parents and watching their kids grow up in a loving environment.

“Man, I resent people telling others how to live! It drives me mental! Just the other night, I heard this TV reverend say that Angie and I were setting a bad example because we were living out of wedlock, and people should not be duped by us! It made me laugh. What damn right does anyone have to tell someone else how to live if they’re not hurting anyone? How many times do you think real love comes to someone in a lifetime? If you’re lucky, maybe two or three.”

    You know, this is silly. They are people, not gods, so let them be. Just because they make movies is no reason to try to feed the public rumors about the state of their “marriage.” It is none of anyone’s business what they do behind closed doors. You can’t steal what something holds closest to their hearts. She did not steal him from JA, he came along willingly. If they have problems, it’s THEIR problems, not the worlds. I just stopped at this site to see the pictures of them. They make a nice couple, have six beautiful children, and would get along better if the public and press would stay out of their lives. I live by one motto, “LIVE YOUR OWN LIFE, AND LET ME LIVE MINE!” People, find something instructive to do instead of reading gossip about people we will almost surely never meet. Just wanted to get this off my mind. They are human, as are all the rest of the thinking animals on this planet. Let’s learn to give each other space. Space to be whatever we want to be. I respect your right to do anything you want, with one exception, that you never say or do anything to hurt another human being. Remember, your GOD sees, hears, and remembers every little wrong you do!

    Brad, Marriage is ordained by GOD. Or don’t you believe in Him? I know Angie doesn’t. But God ordained marriage so people won’t live in SIN. Fornication (Sex outside of marriage), is SIN

    @Harrieta…sheesh….not everyone believes in God. SO WHAT!! For someone who obviously does, have you forgotten the scriptures already? Things like “judge not, lest ye be judged” or the one about living in class houses and throwing the first rock. I find religious people to be the MOST judgmental of all.

    Wow…if Brad feels that way about marriage I suggest he apply that philosophy to every aspect of his life. Until everyone has access to clean drinking water, he should stop drinking it. Until everyone has a home, he should forgo his own.

    Good grief, he attempts to sound deep, but his ideology just doesn’t stand-up.

    Marrianne, the Bible doens’t say you cannot judge…it only states that you will be judged the same measure you judge others. In other words, don’t be hostile and unforgiving to someone that has lied to you when you know you also lie. That is the most poorly interpreted piece of scripture.

Let’s all learn to mind our own business and quit judging others – believe me, we each have enough to do dealing with ourselves. Glass houses, people – remember?
