Eric Bana insists he’s a great husband to his wife of 14-years, Rebecca — because he’s so domesticated.
The actor — who has a two children — says men doing housework is a “bigger aphrodisiac” to women than a good body.
“I’m good around the house,” he said. “I’m not stealing my wife’s thunder, but I do clean. Housework is a bigger aphrodisiac to women than a set of abs, I’ve found.”
“I’m always right! No, I’ve tried to get better at arguing as I’ve got older, but I could never beat my wife,” the Aussie actor added. “She’s the calmest, most brilliant person at putting forward an opinion. She comes from a family of lawyers so I have no hope! I give it my best shot but I usually end up apologizing.”
Bana, 41, recently revealed his displeasure at the amount of time he had to spend in the nude on the set of his latest movie, The Time Traveller’s Wife.
“I just tried to do exactly what I was told,” says Eric of his nude scenes. “I just tried to get them done as quickly as possible and get on with the rest of the day.
“I made sure I didn’t turn around so the camera got everything and I also made sure someone had my clothing very close by at all times. I never thought I would have to drop my drawers but I did.”
