Jennifer Aniston ‘Pining For John Mayer’

The former Friends actress is apparently “pining” for the No Such Thing singer, who she split from earlier this year after the pair had dated on-and-off for several months.

“Although John Mayer’s moving in on Jessica Simpson, it hasn’t stopped Jen pining for him,” a source said. “She still wears the Rolex he gave her as a dating gift, but it’s like his party trick. Jessica was given the same type of watch.”

Aniston — who is divorced from Brad Pitt and has enjoyed brief flings with Gerard Butler and Bradley Cooper – recently insisted she can cope with being branded ‘the lonely girl’.

“I’m not going to ignore the pink elephant in the living room. It’s fine. I can take it,” she told Elle magazine.

“If I’m the emblem for ‘this is what it looks like to be the lonely girl getting on with her life,’ so be it.

“I can make fun of myself. And I’ll bring it up as long as the world is bringing it up.”

    What a bullshit story, nobody knows whats going on with her.

    One week she is back with brad, the next day she is back with mayer, then she is having dinner with cooper and having a romance even if they denied it, then she is with gerard butler, then they deny it, so now it is back with john mayer again.

    @Anon i am also curious what you know. You said it was a director. Now she is with him for all these years because of his career and that is the reason behind all these showmances.

    Could you say if she is still with him?

    There is no way I think this was all a showmance between her and John Mayer. There definitely were some romantic feelings involved here. Know one can convince me otherwise. My radar goes up when these leaks get out that one of them is pining for the other. Last October when these leaks came out they were soon back together again. Yes, I agree, in perfect time for “Marley and Me”…never-the-less, I still believe they had feelings for each other. John’s album is coming out in the next few months. It will be interesting to see if anything about them getting back together goes public. John’s getting sexier and more sophisticated every day. Love the spread on his new digs in Elle.

    Hello, my 1st time in this web!

    They definitely look good together but not sure what kind of relationship they have. JM has been twittering & you will find insinuations about JA but not from a guy in love w/ her. There are indications about another girl right after the break up, thought it was the cocktail waitress but now I think, it was a set up just so he won’t appear to be cheating on JA & that he really is no longer into JA—JM had pic taken during this cocktail waitress’ b-day in a friends house or a resort hotel—probably just having fun w/ her. He has been seeing Pete Wentz & wife & even before the Katsuya rumor, JS & JM were seen by x17 sources & People Mag have reported they were seen together 2x in a couple of weeks during the time of report. I think he is getting back w/ JS as right after the Katsuya rumor, he started a new song “Fondly Hopes”. Just my opinion/speculation but who knows w/ JM? He has done a lot of damage already to Jen w/ all his antics, it’s tiring. Jen has been very mysterious w/ her love life for a long time so I am just waiting for that right man. If it is the director, well & good—they are in the same world. JM admitted Hollywood is not his world after the Oscars, that already is a warning to everyone about the break up coming up. WE all didnt realize his statement was foretelling till it happened. They looked so good together compared to him & JS but if they are in love, what can fans do? WE all have to realize JA and JM belong to different worlds and different stages in life & JM is not that in love to overcome the differences like Ashton Kutchner did to Demi Moore. JM tried, I think. Too bad the media wasn’t helping them either. Media angered JM, too & Jen gets entangled in the wrath. One thing noticeable, why is he still talking referring to her on & off in his twitter, how many months has it been since the break up? Is he trying to justify what he did? To me, it looks like Jen ended the relationship. Who knows? Jen looks happy in her pics so that is enough.

    the waitress said john was upset that jen dumped him abruptly and unexpectedly. hopefully he’ll move on and not embarrass jen. jess is more in his class, speed and intellect.

    ….everything you read is FICTION created by (1) tabloid writers (2) PMK/HBH and CAA planted stories (3) an acted fiction. Mayer and Aniston looked like a couple, but they were not. They never were. In fact she did the same act with Vince Vaughn, who even flew to Miami to give him advise. It was all about publicity and “risk management”. To you, this is romantic speculation, to her it is part of her career she can use as promotion, to the agents it is “risk management” and to the studio investors it is money. OK ? Since before Vaughn there was a plan, that is why she was never with him. He was a “friend” and actor who know, just like Mayer, what is really going on. Mayer did this to increase his own personal exposure with the hopes of a TV deal that never happened. Sculfor wanted an acting gig and Vaughn was a producer who basically escorted Jen. NOTHING about this is normal or natural. It is orchestrated in response to an observing media/public. Jen’s primary goal was to make sure her career was not divorced also and to make sure she did not look second best. That is why all this was strategically timed.

    Mayer appeared in a swimming pool 1 week before Cannes. Kevin and Stephen knew the huge attention given to Jolie/Pitt last time and he needed to counter that. Jen also had a release the same day as Pitt at Christmas etc….. A box office battle she won, much to Jolie/Pitt’s chagrin. Vaughn had just been in a movie with Pitt before TBU. Mayer is one of the few people who does “crazy things” for publicity. Pretending Jen was a girlfriend was a “crazy thing”. That is why Mayer said, a week before “going as oscar boyfriend” that his girlfriend was getting an engagement ring. His real girlfriend was rarely seen. It wasn’t Jen. He was trying to maximize publicity….. The problem CAA had (CAA manages Aniston, Mayer, Vaughn, Diaz, Cooper and Butler) was Mayer had a bad habit of talking too much. That is why they killed his contract, and rewrote it with stricter guidelines. She flew to NY, under the guise of seeing a Turner exhibit, and got him to sign the second agreement after they realised he was the most high profilr person she could CONTRACTUALLY appear with. She went straight back to LA, saw the lawyers and then, a few weeks later, they were seen together. It was all to stop questions. That is why she said “Trust me you will never see that again from him”. Mayer had a girlfriend all the time and he couldn’t even disclose to her what was going on with the second contract which made her pissed off. At the Oscars he nearly gave the game away, he said he was leaving the spotlight for a few months…. before the acted, planned “break up” a few days later. They even acted a kiss for another hired photographer at the airport. This was the “finale”, just like exiting through the front door at LAX after seeing Vaughn in London on October 31st. Halloween is hardly romantic, but the DVD was released on October 17th, so calling all the pap’s for a huge LAX exit increased the profile of the DVD release. The Mayer finale was straight after the promotion of Marley and Me, but they were all very happy. Getting the #1 film at Christmas and beating her ex husband proved to her that her career was on track and she didn’t need to pretend any more. Now things are getting real, which it is why it’s quiet. At least for now !

    For some reason, I think it is JSimpson all this time. She is the pin up girl, cheap looking blonde that is his type, waiting for him till he’s ready for commitment. The perfect girl for someone arrogant and controlling. JSimpson would follow whatever he wants, especially now that he is in the spotlight more than when they were together during their younger days (didn’t even know them at all till JA got connected to him—-him & JS don’t even look good together during their younger days, based on photos I have just seen). He might even be marrying her this time around…….he’s twittered about a new golden couple in the early part of the break-up story w/ JA (could mean JA w/ another man or him and JS). I am more interested in Jennifer Aniston’s career—-her love life is all her own and nobody’s business. It would be nice that media respects her, she has been thru a lot. If the men publicized in her life is for publicity, it was needed in a vain attempt so people would stop the triangle. I don’t think it has anything to do w/ her movies. Movies are box office if good and flop if no good—-all celebrities experience that, including Brangelina. She has walked the red carpet after her divorce & other red carpets/events w/o a bf. It is disturbing that Jennifer Anistion gets the bad shots all the time, anything she does or say, like she is the only actress doing whatever
    . I admire her for her being classy and for her strength to keep on doing what she says the only thing she knows—–acting and embracing what comes with it. Mayer should have learned a lesson from her, instead of acting rebellious about Hollywood and the media and doing it at all cost without concern for other people, including JA. I could not reconcile him being in her house, having dinner in restaurants w/ her, she even bought gifts for his friends’ birthdays, etc. …. I mean, no matter what the relationship was, there was no reason to bash her, even w/ his own fans at the Mayercraft cruise—surprised that nothing bad has leaked out to the media from that cruise. But that is the John Mayer that his fans adore??????? Sad how celebrity world has changed in role models…………not that I think JA has no faults or flaws but she is one of the few who has tried to keep her private life as far as she can and she didn’t push herself to follow whatever the trend is, like getting married just cause people wants her to, having babies, going too public w/ charities, glamourizing herself, etc…………just my honest opinions, I leave everyone to his/her own idea of someone to admire. And to her publicist/agents and the media: she doesn’t have to have a man by her side, please leave her alone. Her agent should be more busy looking for the right juicy role that she deserves. And to Jen: there are still people who believe in you, no matter what. Keep going and one advise: stay away from LA or NY, settle in a place where there are no paps and you will have peace. It’s not good hiding all the time for the privacy you want. Fans may be disappointed not seeing pics but some really care for you. Other celebrities have survived………….Meryl Streep is a perfect example.
