Amy Winehouse Plans US Trip

Amy Winehouse is serious about getting her career back on track — she’s planning a promotional trip to the US.
The Rehab hitmaker is reportedly eying a visit Stateside after a two-year ban restricting her from entering America expired.
The 25-year-old star was banned from entering the country after she was arrested in Norway. She was then denied a work visa after she was charged with assaulting a fan, which she has since been cleared of.
“Amy loves the idea of jetting off to America,” a source said. “She’d be over the moon to spend time in the States, hanging out and doing some gigs. She knows she has a huge fan base there and would love to boost her profile further and give something back to fans.”
Amy’s spokesman said, “There is nothing to stop her getting a visa to travel to America. Back To Black was the second biggest-selling album in the world last year and she never had the chance to tour there, so it’s on the cards.”
