Matt Damon had to gain 30 pounds to play a mentally unstable whistleblower in his new movie The Informant — and he loved it!
The Hollywood superstar admits he enjoyed pigging out on calorific treats as he prepared for the role.
“I definitely got doughy,” Damon said “I started eating like crazy and drinking dark beer. Between meals on set, I’d eat a No.1 Value Meal at McDonald’s and then Doritos on top of it. “It was absolute heaven.”
Damon, 38, recently admitted he faced a difficult battle when it came to shifting his extra pounds.
“If you put it on, it’s easier to get it back off,” he said. “I’m just boxing. I figure if you get hit enough times, it will fall off! Now I’m the Sexiest Man Alive’s chunky cousin!”
