Robert Pattinson: ‘Twitter Has Wrecked my Life!’

Robert PattinsonFor Robert Pattinson, leading a “normal” life is a thing of the past.

The British actor — who shot to fame playing vampire Edward Cullen in the super-successful Twilight movie franchise — says he can’t remember what his life used to be like.

And, worst of all, R-Patz says he can’t stay in the same place for more than 20 minutes — because he’ll likely get mobbed!

“I can’t remember what my normal life is like,” the New Moon star told a Scottish newspaper in a new interview.

“Because of internet stuff and Twitter, there will be a crowd if you are in a place for more than half an hour.

“I’ve learned never to stay in the same place for more than 20 minutes.”

“The biggest challenge is coping with the crowds,” he added. “I am a quiet, private person. It’s strange. You have to change a little bit.

“Walking down the street comes with screaming.”

Pattinson, 23, recently revealed he found it easy filming the upcoming Twilight sequel.

“It was a stress-free job for three months,” he said. “All the pressure was on Taylor Lautner.”

    Yeah, if twitter didn’t excist people would use their Blackberries to let fans know where he’s at.. So there’s no excuse to that, you wanted to be famous.. So now you’ll pay the price!

    Referring to the previous comment, I don’t think he “wanted to be famous”. He just wanted to be an actor. And being an actor shouldn’t, and usually, doesn’t include being followed around 24/7 by hords of screeming fans. Yes, there will be a lot more mail to deal with, and I heard that he is fine doing that, but get real…if you want him to not have a nervous breakdown, let him have a break and have his OWN personal life. (How would you like having all your laundry airing out for EVERYONE to see. i.e. your mistakes, your successes, your privite moments, your embarressing ones, too). He’s just a person who has a career where a lot of people are able to see him on film; he didn’t sign up to be a Beatle.

    people put their pants one leg at a time. why people act crazy when they see entertainers , I will never understand . Pattinson is just a entertainer .
