Fergie’s In No Rush to Breed
Black Eyed Peas star Fergie has played down speculation she’s set to have a baby — insisting she’s in no rush to settle down and start a family.
It had been claimed that the Boom Boom Pow singer told husband Josh Duhamel she’s happy to get pregnant and give her up partying ways.
But Fergie says that simply ain’t the case.
“Everyone tries to rush you into everything in the press these days, but for me, right now, it’s about Black Eyed Peas and there’s no room in my schedule to have a child,” she said. “Or even if I wanted to get pregnant, there’s no way that I could perform on stage and do like my 100 walkovers and be pregnant, I would just feel too guilty.
“People are inspiring to me to see how they do it. It’s kind of interesting now with the media that the way it’s getting to watch these women have careers, like Jennifer Lopez has a career, but also had babies and I think it’s about balance. Once I have children, the kids come first.”
