Fergie had to gain 17lb for her role in the movie music Nine — and she loved it!
“It was easy to put it on and it was fun and I loved it,” the Boom Boom Pow singer told Scotland’s Daily Record newspaper in a new interview.
“I ate fried foods, everything, and I just didn’t work out at all.
“I didn’t care, didn’t even think about it. It was great.
“It was the longest period of time I had ever done that I think since high school.
“But when I started working out – it was a big deal and then getting back into it. It really took me a while mentally to get back to that routine. So now I have a trainer, which is great, and keeps me motivated.”

The singer, real name Stacy Ann Ferguson, also revealed why she gave up a drug habit that included crystal meth, which caused chemically induced paranoid schizophrenia.
“At one point I was sure the FBI were coming for me. I said, ‘Okay, if you walk through that door and they’re not out there, it’s the drugs’,” she said.
“Oh, God, it was completely another life.
“I feel so far away from my past. One hundred per cent, I guess.”
