It certainly looks that way — the pair have jetted off for a luxury break on Mustique in the Caribbean, one of the world’s most romantic spots.

The couple landed on the island Wednesday for a week’s break booked at the last minute.

“They are having a fantastic time,” a source told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper, adding that the couple are staying at an exclusive $4,000-a-night villa — probably paid for by the taxpayer. “Kate and William have been spending a lot of time on the beach and William has been showing off his skills on the jet ski.

“They are having the time of their lives and haven’t stopped smiling since they got here.

“They’ve been enjoying romantic walks along their private beach. In the evenings their every need is catered to by a team of eight waiters.

“They have also been going to their favourite nightspot on the island, Basil’s Bar.”

Last week, Showbiz Spy reported that the couple — who have dated for eight years — will tie the knot by 2012.

“It is now accepted among senior members of the family that William and Kate WILL marry,” a source said.

“They are totally committed to each other.

“But the timing is very important. It would have to be wrong to force the situation before William is established in his own right.

“In the future it is hoped that Kate will pay a supporting role, rather as the Duchess of Cornwall has for the Prince of Wales.”

    Of course they are having ‘the time of their lives’ and smiling. This is Miss Middleton’s second visit to Mustique in around about a month this time paid for by us. The last one was to ‘recover’ from the ‘shock’ of the antics of her ‘Uncle Gary’ and his drugs and prostitute business discovery, which she kindly had introduced Prince William to…very classy. The credit-crunch cutbacks that the Queen wanted to display didn’t last long. Are the Royal Family too blind to see what this impression gives? Basically, they don’t appear to give a toss. It seems that Prince William feels honour bound to placate Miss Middleton at every opportunity, even defying his Grandmother. Why? I just hope Miss Middleton is worth every penny that is being forked out on her needs…….courtesy of the British Public. Not a lot of people are amused, but obviously Prince William and Miss Middleton are whilst running down the beach.
