Kristen Stewart is many things — but work-shy isn’t one of them.

The Twilight star plays rocker Joan Jett in upcoming biopic The Runaways — and, according to Jett, Stewart really put in the hours to perfect her performance.

“Kristen was so into it, into the whole vibe of doing this,” Jett told Billboard magazine.

“I think she felt a weight and a responsibility to interpret it correctly. She was really serious about it and was watching me and asking me all sorts of questions, from speech aspects to watching my body language, watching where I stood, watching my guitar playing.

“She really worked hard to get it right.”

The Runaways — which also stars Stewart’s New Moon costar Dakota Fanning — hits theaters next year.

Stewart, 19, is currently in Vancouver, Canada, filming the third flick in the Twilight series.
