Avril Lavigne to Split From Husband?

Avril LavigneAvril Lavigne‘s marriage to Deryck Whibley is reportedly on the rocks.

According to reports, the Complicated hitmaker and the Sum 41 rocker — who have been married since 2006 — are headed for Splitsville.

The couple apparently came to blows when the Canadian songstress hit New York alone last weekend.

“She wanted to get away from Deryck and have a weekend to herself,” a source told the New York Daily News.

Avril hit up celebrity eatery Georgica and was seen partying with a number of male admirers.

“She kept running up to the photographers and asking to see the pictures they took,” says one partygoer.

Lavigne and Whibley aven’t been photographed together since last December.

    I’m amazed they haven’t been seen together since December. 3 years isn’t a long time for most marriages, but in celebrity terms it’s like a decade. If they’ve done everything they can to work things out without success, then it’s no wonder they are going their separate ways. If they haven’t, then it’s going to be yet another addition to the growing divorce statistics that could have been prevented. That’s assuming the rumors are true of course.

    * Koi Restaurant, Los Angeles 05.29.09
    * Madeo Restaurant, Los Angeles – 07.20.09
    * Beverly Glen Center – Bel Air, LA 09.05.09
    * Whole Foods – Beverly Hills, LA 05.06.09

    And they were both just seen at Boathouse in Canada on 08.17.09 too.

    NO it is not over for Avril and Deryck, Avril was in New York on business for setting up a fashion show.
