DJ AM’s Friends Pay Tribute

DJ AM‘s famous friends have spoken out to pay tribute to the star following his death Friday.
The star — whose real name is Adam Goldstein — was found dead in his New York City apartment at 5:20 p.m. yesterday. He reportedly suffered a drug overdose.
Stars including Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, Demi Moore and Lindsay Lohan have all taken to Twitter to express their sadness.
Lohan, “I can’t believe this.. i’m in shock. why? why? r.i.p. adam.”
Diddy, “DJ AM rest in peace.”
Moore, “The shock of DJ AM has me at a loss for words…his joyous spirit was a gift to us all!”
Kelly Osbourne, “I just cant believe that adam (dj.am) is gone i dont want to believe it im in shock. he was one of the most genuine people i have ever met!”
Shanna Moakler, whose ex-husband Travis Barker survived a fatal plane crash with Goldstein last year, “My deepest condolences for DJ AM, you were a great artist and will be severely missed. My thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.”
Ryan Seacrest, “So sad the hear about adam. a very kind and generous guy.”
Samantha Ronson, “I just can’t wrap my head around it – I don’t want to believe it’s real – and nothing I can say will serve his memory any justice right now … I’m just f-ng sad sad.”
John Mayer, “In complete shock …I really want to use words right now but I can’t get em. F—… We’re supposed to lose our friends to time, at an age when we’re ready to agree to the terms of having lived a long life. Not now.”
