Michael Jackson Would Have Been 51 Saturday

Michael Jackson — who died June 25 at his home in Los Angeles — would have turned 51 today, August 29.
Michael JacksonOn Friday, the Los Angeles County coroner announced Jackson’s death had been ruled a homicide.

The singer suffered from “acute propofol intoxication.” Other drugs detected in his system included midazolam, diazepam, lidocaine, and ephedrine, according to the coroner’s report.

The homicide finding — meaning death at the hands of another — is only one of five rulings a coroner can make in a death investigation. Among the others: natural, suicide, accident, and “could not be determined.”

According to a search-warrant affidavit, Dr. Conrad Murray, Jackson’s personal physician who is now the target of a manslaughter investigation, had been giving Jackson 50 mg of Propofol (which Jackson called his “milk”) diluted with lidocaine every night through an IV line.

Murray told police he gave the singer propofol the morning of June 25 after a series of sedatives failed to help Jackson sleep.

    I am very sorry that a musical icon died but it happend because he was careless and cavelier and out of control it was preventable and therefore terribly sad, the Michael I loved as a child died a long time ago when he carved up his face and professed that he didn’t understand why people thought it oddly perverse that he perferred the company of children; the saddest thing of all is that for all of his love for his own children he left them without a bonded parent to grow up unteathered and with a certainly uncertain future that is what we should mourn all of adults have had a chance those children are destined to be emotionally damaged by all of the glare of this hoopla surrounding his death
