Whitney Houston Wanted Her Daughter to Trust Her

Posted by Adam

Whitney HoustonWhitney Houston only agreed to her eagerly-anticipated comeback when she was sure her teenage daughter trusted her as a mother.

The Heartbreak Hotel hitmaker put her career on hold to battle her demons and be a full-time mom to Bobbi Kristina.

And now Houston’s back on the music scene with a vengeance — and pleased at the job she’s done as a mother.

“She and I are not only mother and daughter, but we’re good friends,” Whitney told Ebony magazine. “I want her to trust me, to be able to trust in me, to know that I’m not going nowhere.

“If she knows that I’m there for her, she can depend on me. I’m the dependable one; she can depend on her mommy.”

“My mother’s getting older,” Whitney added. “I wanted to spend more time with my mom because during most of my 20s and 30s, I was dealing with making records and traveling the world and being this thing — icon.”

Whitney thank God for bringing you through a very difficult time in your life. I hope to hear a gospel album by you. I don’t know if “I Look You” is gospel but the title sounds good. Becuse we all must look to Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. “My faith looks unto Thee, O Lamb of Calvery.” And “I want to see Jesus, I want to see Him.”

Your character, in your interviews, show that you have no humility. You’re an egoist and think we’re lucky to have your presence. You’ve exhibited public displays of a lowlife, poor choices, and pathies beyond being being eccentric.

Yes, you are gifted with a beautiful voice, and you had your day. I’m sure it’s an ego burst that you have to come back for financial reasons – and therefore, using the public to do so. I wish you well in your endeavers, but I’m not interested anymore.
