Kelly Clarkson has a new obsession — she likes playing golf!
The Already Gone hitmaker says she can see similarities between playing the sport and how you live your life.
“I love it. I feel like every day of life is like a new hole: You get to start over,” the singer told Self magazine. “It’s like, ‘Man, I really screwed that up yesterday, so today I’m going to focus on not screwing it up.’
“I’ll probably be playing golf for life. It’s a very peaceful sport.”
Kelly, 27, recently denied claims that she had dated American Idol judge Simon Cowell.
“Everybody seems to think we dated or something,” she said.
“We didn’t date but he’s always been very supportive of me.”
“The funny thing about him is the Idol contestants think he’s harsh but they should see what people in the press say about you,” Clarkson adds. “I think it’s great preparation for what lies ahead. Because of him I don’t take criticism too seriously. I just see it as advice.”
