Mischa Barton has denied reports she’s hired a ‘sober coach’ to help her stay on the straight and narrow.

It had been claimed that producers on the troubled star’s new TV show The Beautiful Life had hired someone to stay with her at all times following her hospitalization under involuntary psychiatric hold at Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in July.

“Mischa is doing great since she returned to work, but after a chat with show bosses she agreed she would appreciate some extra support,” a source said.

But a rep for Barton insists reports of a sober coach are “not true.”
