Lily Allen says she loves that people follow her on Twitter — but wishes they would venture out to the record store and buy her music!

The singer — who, at the time of this article’s publication, has 1,375,927 followers on the popular social-networking website — says she wants her online pals to part with their hard-earned cash and purchase her CDs.

“I do wish though they would go out and buy my music,” the Smile singer, 24, told Britain’s Metro newspaper.

Lily recently revealed she doesn’t spend ages deciding what she’ll wear for a gig — she chooses her outfits at the very last minute.

“I never plan what I wear, not until about five minutes before I go on,” she said. “It is totally about what I’m comfortable in at that moment. That’s why I can’t plan because I don’t know how I’m going to feel.

“I have to go to a show about an hour and 45 minutes before it starts because I like to get in there.

“I like to put my music on, I like to do my hair — I do my own hair and make-up — and choose clothes and do a bit of vocal warm-ups and then go upstairs, peek behind the curtain, get a feel for where it is I am and what kind of people I’m performing to.”
