Leona Lewis Snubs Harrods

Leona Lewis has revealed how she snubbed London’s posh Harrods department store because they stock fur.
The Bleeding Love singer — whose new single is getting largely positive reviews — told the UK’s Big Issue magazine that she turned down the chance to open the Harrods’ sale because of their stance on fur.
“I got a lot of flak for that,” she said.
“There were people who said I should have done it and given the money to charity, but that would have been such a contradiction.”
On the pitfalls of living in Hollywood, Leona — who has a new album, Echo, out later this year — added, “I’ve just learned how to decipher the true, genuine people from the ones that want to know you for their own benefit along the way.”
