Robert Pattinson Wants a Quiet Life

Robert PattinsonRobert Pattinson admits becoming one of Hollywood’s hottest young stars has had a serious effect on his life — because really, he’d like to stay out of the limelight.

The British actor, 23, admits he’s becoming a recluse because he doesn’t want to go out in public and get noticed.

“I’ve always been a bit of a recluse anyway so it doesn’t make too much of a difference now that I actually am one,” he said.

Showbiz Spy reported this past weekend how Robert and Kristen Stewart — who are currently in Vancouver, Canada, filming the third Twilight flick, Eclipse — have been locking themselves away in their hotel suites in a bid to avoid the paparazzi.

“Rob and Kristen hate not being able to leave their hotel when they’re not filming,” a source said. “But they can’t stomach being photographed all the time.

“Whenever Rob tries to leave the hotel, he’s swarmed by photographers. It’s the same for Kristen. They’re fed up with it.”

The source added that Pattinson, 23, and Stewart, 19, are keen to explore Vancouver, “but all the attention — from the fans and paparazzi — is getting a bit too much.”

    Enough! Leave this teenager and young adult alone. Let them do their work and live their lives. They don’t behave like the usual asswipes clamoring for headlines. Just leave them alone. They don’t own us anything but a well-acted movie. That’s what they hope to deliver. There will be plenty of planned appearances to coincide with the movies’ release. Go, EnJoy! Let the rest go.

    i agree with patti! We finally get some actors (Kristen and Robert) who actually LOVE to act and are sooooo far off from thinking about their egos its refreshing, that the media hype surrounding them is ludacrous. They are so young and very, very mature, i sometimes wonder why the hell people are so caught up in Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton etc. They are two beautiful people with talent to burn and here people are thinking that they have some sort of ownership around them! Obviously people can’t leave them alone but instead of creating false information about them lets just appreciate their work! They’re the only ones of their age in this industry that deserves it!!

    Hey Rob & Kristen how u both?
    i havent heard from u both, i hope u good health. u must be going through hard stuff right now all the Media attention, but if u both have each other u can face anything. i know can Media can make so much stories up but its u can rise above it if u know in your heart what is true u dont need to tell the whole world just be true to ur self and listen to ur heart.
    i think after twilight Movies u both should go in to music or making a movie u can be what ever u want dont loose hope

    I hope the media reads these little notes about leaving you both alone. It’s really rotten that the media can’t respect your wishes. I hope and pray all goes well for the both of you and that ya’ll actually get some private down time to regroup and relax. I wish the best for both of you. Try not to take what the media says to heart, they are just a bunch of greedy, mean people who don’t know when to stop hounding people. Someone will teach them a lesson some day.
