Katie Price and Peter Andre will start the process to end their marriage Tuesday.

The warring couple — who split in May after three-and-a-half years of marriage — have both filed divorce papers so neither will have to admit to being responsible for the break-up of their relationship.

Peter is thought to have taken action first, with Katie — also known as Jordan — then instructing her lawyers to do the same.

“It’s quite sad really and nothing more than a petty snipe from Katie,” a family lawyer said. “It’s her way of saying, ’I am not allowing you to divorce me — instead I am going to divorce you.’”

The couple — who raise three children together, Harvey, seven, Junior, four, and two-year-old Princess Tiaamii — will be granted a cross decree, as they are both filing for divorce, and will then be given six weeks to assess the situation before a decree absolute is given.

The pair are believed to have already reached a financial settlement and custody arrangements for the children as they are keen for the marriage to end as soon as possible.
