Sandra Bullock: ‘I’ll Never Quit Romantic Comedies’

Sandra Bullock has rubbished suggestions that she’s had enough of romantic comedies.
The Proposal star says the only reason she has cut back on filming her trademark movies is that there are not enough of them about.
“I love good romantic comedies,” she says. “There just aren’t a lot of them. But I love comedies and I’ll never stop doing them.”
Bullock, 45, recently revealed she regrets undergoing speech therapy to get rid of her lisp.
“Our individual quirks are a part of us that we’re told to lose once we become an adult,” she said. “I had a lisp that I had to get rid of, and I had to have speech therapy. Now I just go, ‘Why? Why did I need to get rid of a lisp?’
“It’s that whole, ‘What is normal?’ thing. We’re very excited to embrace children like that, but we don’t trust adults who are like that.”
